clans and phratry. Often very little
information is known or they no longer
exist. We have included them here to
provide more information about the tribes.
Boguechito (big bayou) . A
Choctaw band formerly residing in Neshoba co., Miss., in a district known by
the same name. Gatschet, Creek Migr. Leg., i, 108, 1884.
Chito (large [people]). A Choctaw gens of the
Watakihulata phratry. Morgan, Anc. Soc., 182, 1878.
Chufaniksa (Chu-fan-ik′sa, beloved
people) . A Choctaw clan of the Watakihulata phratry. Morgan, Anc. Soc., 162,

Iskulani (small [people). A Choctaw clan of the
