Cooper Rolls

The Cooper Rolls are a Census Roll of Choctaw Families residing East of the Mississippi River and in the States of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama made by Douglas H. Cooper, US Agent for Choctaws, in conformity with Order of Commissioner of Indian Affairs dated May the 23rd, 1855.

  2. Searching for great grandmother phoebe pulley she was born in Alabama was said to be Choctaw . Unable to find roll number she married my great grand father when grandpa Tomas Manry was born she passed 20 days later.

    1. I am related to old Need Sizemore he is Cherokee. I am also of Choctaw please contact me. I filed as the Choctaw Nation in Mississippi 2014 , my father was lifetime Principal Chief of the Louisiana Band of Choctaw

    Looking for any Bryant, Temples, Cauley information. My gggrandmother Lydia Jennie Cauley, Temple, Bryant. She was born 1814 Mississippi. She had two sons by Cauley or Temples, named Needham 1833 and William 1835. They used the Temple last name, but DNA shows they possibly belonged to Cauley.
