Flathead Fort, Montana – On Clarks Fork branch of the Colombia River.

Harrison Fort, Montana – Four miles from Helena.
Hawley Fort, Montana – On Missouri River, Dawson Comity.
Indian Fort, Montana – On Missouri River, opposite mouth of the Porcupine.
Keogh Fort, Montana – Near mouth of Tongue River, Custer County.
Kipp Fort, Montana – On the Upper Missouri River.
Kootenais Fort, Montana – On Flat Bow or Kootenais River.
Lewis Camp, Montana – On the Big Spring fork of Judith River.
Lewis Fort, Montana – On Missouri River, near Pablois Island.
Logan, Fort, Montana – In Smiths River Valley, Meagher Comity; now town of that name; established as Camp Baker.
Maginnis Fort, Montana – Fergus County; now town of that name, 53 miles from Rocky Point.
Merritt Camp, Montana – At Tongue River Agency.
Missoula Fort, Montana – On Bitter Root River, 4 miles from Missoula Station.
Montana State Soldiers’ Home, Columbia Falls.
McKinzie Fort, Montana.

Shaw Fort, Montana – On Sun River, 88 miles north of Helena; first named Camp Reynolds.

Sun River Post on, Montana – Fort Shaw.
