Jack Lee Baremore, 67, died on April 18, 2005, in Reno, Nev., due to unexpected natural causes. A celebration of life will be held at 10a.m. on April 22 at The Valley Fellowship, 507 Palmer in La Grande.

A graveside service will follow at the Wallowa Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be held on April 21 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Loveland’s Funeral Chapel, 1508 4th Street, La Grande.

Jack Lee Baremore, 67, of Union died suddenly April 18 in Reno, Nev., of natural causes. Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at Loveland Funeral Chapel, 1508 Fourth St.

A celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m. Friday April 22 at Valley Fellowship, 507 Palmer St., with Pastor Bill Miller officiating, and a graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. at Wallowa Cemetery. A reception will follow at 4 p.m. at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show clubhouse in Union.

Mr. Baremore was born July 22, 1937, to Charlie Lee and Ruth Ida Klees Baremore in Stevensville, Mont. He moved to Wallowa County in the fall of 1956 and then to Union County in the fall of 1972. He married Karen Horton

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ranching, logging and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of Union; his mother of Wallowa; children and their spouses, Dennis and Levon Baremore of Union, Susan Baremore and Tina Baremore, both of Kuna, Idaho; and Roy and Tanya Baremore of Union; brothers, James Baremore of La Grande, Richard Baremore of Summerville, Dan Baremore of Wallowa; and eight grandchildren. His father and a son, Ronald, died earlier.

Memorials may be made to the Bobcat Scholarship Fund for Union High School, 540 S. Main St., Union 97883.

Jack Lee Baremore, 67, died in Reno, Nev., due to unexpected natural causes on April 18, 2005. He was born on July 22, 1937, in Stevensville, Mont., to Charlie Lee and Ruth Ida Klees Baremore.

He moved to Wallowa County in the fall of 1956 and then to Union County in the fall of 1972. Mr. Baremore enjoyed hunting, fishing, ranching, logging and spending time with grandchildren and the rest of his family.

He is survived by his wife Karen Horton Baremore of Union; mother Ruth Baremore of Wallowa; son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Levon Baremore of Union; daughter Susan Baremore of Kuna, Idaho; daughter Tina Baremore of Kuna, Idaho; son Roy and daughter-in-law Tanya Baremore of Union; brother James Baremore of La Grande; brother Richard Baremore of Summerville; brother Dan Baremore of Wallowa; and eight grandchildren. His father and his son Ronald preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service was held on April 22 in La Grande, followed by a graveside service at Wallowa Cemetery and a reception at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show Grounds in Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bobcat Scholarship Fund for Union High School at 540 S. Main Street, Union, Oregon 97883.
