Horace G. Lyons. One of the most interesting personalities surviving the pioneer decade of Kansas is Horace G. Lyons, who for four years had had his home in the Highland Park suburb of Topeka. Mr. Lyons is now eighty-four years of age. His had been not only a long but a broad outlook upon life.
Amos Todd5, (Charles4, Gideon3, Michael2, Christopher1) born Nov. 15, 1769, died Sept. 1830, married April 1794 at Great Bend, Penn., Lurana, daughter of Ozias and Susannah (West) Strong, who was born Dec. 4, 1777, in Lee, Mass., died Feb., 1851, in Sandusky, Ohio. Mr. Todd and his sister Rhoda were the first settlers in Cortland
