Ruth Eleanor Daniels Cronin died Sept. 18, 2005, at the hospice in Kennewick, Wash. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Cronin was born Dec. 2, 1906 in Raton, New Mexico Territory to William A. Lucy A. Dimmick, of La Grande, a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 16, 2002, at Evergreen Health and Rehab Center in La Grande.
