Capt. Vincent M. Grewell, a pioneer of Ipava, Ill., died Dec. 16, 1902, aged nearly 81 years. Mrs. Jane Grewell, Dec. 28, 1902, aged 77 years. There were just 14 days difference between the deaths of this aged couple, who had lived together for 52 years. They had relatives in this valley: E. D. Grewell, Clay, and Stanley Grewell, Mrs. Harvey McEwen [Martha Jane Grewell], and Mrs. William [Mary Grewell] Taylor.
