Barnhart, Vera Willett Glenn Mrs. – Obituary

Vera W. Glenn Barnhart, 86, of Boise, died Dec. 9, 2001, in a Boise hospital.

Her memorial service was Dec. 12, 2001, at the Alden Waggoner Funeral Chapel in Boise. Inurnment is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Vera was born Oct. 31, 1915, at Baker City to Glen Willett and Florence James Willett. She attended elementary school at Baker City and high school at Meridian, Idaho. She married James R. Glenn on May 11, 1935, at Boise. They had two children: Jacqueline and Gary.

She enjoyed fishing, was an avid dancer, a world traveler and she loved theater.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church; past noble grand of the Unity Rebekah Lodge No. 8, Odd Fellows Lodge; past president, Columbia No. 3, Ladies Auxiliary, Patriarchs Militant, IOOF; past president (1992-93), Department Association LAPM of Idaho IOOF; past noble grand, Rose Rebekah Lodge No. 18, IOOF (historical lodge); Eagles Auxiliary, former Elks Ladies Auxiliary of Boise; and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Educational Foundation, in care of the Rebekah Assembly of Idaho, P.O. Box 567, Caldwell , Idaho 83606-0567.
