         a. Horace: settled in Delaware Co., Ohio.
         b. William: settled in Delaware Co., Ohio.
         c. Thomas Jefferson: m. Murina Morgan, of Ohio, and had nine
            children: Charles (went to Calif. in 1852); William, Thomas
            Jefferson (d. about 1870 unm.); Franklin Benjamin (unm., settled
            in Cleveland); Joseph (went to Minnesota and there enlisted
            in the Civil War. He died of a wound received in service), and
            4 daus.
         d. George Clinton: d 1848, unm.
         e. James Madison: b. 1809; m. about 1832 Abigail Anna Sherman,
            of Charlotte, Vt. She d. 1859. He d. in Cleveland, O., Oct.,
            1879. They had Sherman James, b. 1833 (m. Clara J. Curtis.
            He enlisted in the army in 1861; d. in 1865), and others.
