Genealogy of Almeda Dana Mitchell

Almeda Dana Mitchell b at Owego, N. Y. Oct. 26, 1819, m Feb. 6, 1839 at Lisle, N. Y. to Nathan Church. He was a man of sterling christian principle, respected by all. His, health failing and the death of his wife threw the boys on to their own responsibilities and they made places for themselves in the world. They are all men of influence in the localities where they reside.

  2. Frederick L. Church b June 19, 1845, m Aug. 23, 1865 Julia L. Butler. She b Mar. 20, 1847; m (2) Sophia M. Burdick Sept. 24, 1896. She b Jan. 15, 1850. Now (1901) resides at Mitchell, Antrim Co., Mich. Children:-
    1. Mary Ellen Church b April 14, 1870, m July 24, 1886 Fred Haggett. He b July 20, 1856. Children:
      1. Laura May Haggett, b April 5, 1888.
      2. Florence Ellen Haggett, b Aug. 14, 1889.
      3. Lucille Haggett, b Oct. 13, 1897.
    2. Charles Frederic Church b April 28, 1872.
    3. Erwin Church b May 31, 1875.
    4. Irene Church b April 4, 1877, m Oct. 19, 1894 Loren B. Frost. He b July 14, 1865. Children:
      1. Leon Bernice Frost h May 21, 1896.
      2. Hazel May Frost b Nov. 27, 1898.
    5. William John Church b April 7, 1879, m Nov. 11, 1899 Mary Burdick. She b Dec. 29, 1881.
