Muster Roll of Captain Thos. C. Ellis’s Company of the 2nd Regiment Brigade of Florida Mounted Militia, commanded by Col. F. L. Dancey, ordered into service of the United States by the Secretary of War from the 12th day of January 1841 to the 12th of April 1841 when discharged.
Company enrolled by Gen’l L. Read.
Certified a true muster roll by Thos. C. Ellis, Captain, on 12 Jan. 1841, and again on 6 April 1841. Muster Roll certified and Company discharged 6 April 1841 by S. Churchill, Maj. 3d Artillery at Newnansville, East Florida.
