The new kid on the block, FootNote is known for digitizing historical
documents... many of which are genealogical gems. With naturalizations,
city directories, war records, newspapers, town records, etc... this new
kid is quickly being recognized as an alternative to Ancestry.
Belknap County, New Hampshire Genealogy
On this site you will find a little bit of
everything having to do with the people that
lived in Belknap County, New Hampshire. Most
information comes from my personal collection
of newspapers and old ledgers full of obits,
marriages, and other newspaper clippings.
Bethel-The House Of God
The present church building was constructed in
1903, with 86 people contributing labor,
materials and funds for the building. Mr Henry
Clay Allen donated lumber from his own mill
and furnished workmen to assist with
construction of the building.
St. James Cemetery Inscriptions
Saint James' Church cemetery surrounds the
Evansburg Free Library building in Perkiomen,
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The oldest
headstone now legible was erected in 1723. A
marker installed in 1908 commemorates the over
150 Continental soldiers of the Revolutionary
War, who are believed to have been buried
there, after the battle of Germantown.
Indians of Northwestern California This site features oral traditions of the
people who lived in a certain region in
northwestern California before the
Euro-Americans arrived and after they arrived.
It is intended to be a starting point for the
viewer to find information about our early
pioneers and the Native Americans who were
here when they came. The People are variously
known as Wintu, Wailakki, Hupa, Sinkyone,
Yuki, Huchnom, Mattoal, and Athabascan
sub-groups.
