Tennessee. Family tradition has it that
William, youngest of three orphaned brothers,
came to S.C., with them, from England
indentured to a landowner for their passage.
The Ronnebeck's came from Rutenberg, Prussia
and settled in Madison County, Illinois. They
had a small family before the father died. The
widow never remarried and as a result this
family remains very traceable today with
descendents in Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas and
California.

Youngs of Ayrshire
This site is here to share information on my
Scottish ancestry coming from Ayrshire,
Scotland. The Youngs came to the United States
in the early 1850's from the Kilmarnock area
of Ayrshire. Through the Ayrshire list on
Rootsweb, I came in contact with Graham Wilson
and through Graham, Bruce Shields. Both of
whom provided most of the information on the
