  1. Alton Lambert was my great grandfather. We have copies of all his books. I’m going through them now. I’m so proud of him for what he was able to accomplish and his dedication to preserving our family history and that of Tuscaloosa County.

  2. Will you please add to this file “Old Wesley Chapel Cemetery” Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
This cemetery was surveyed by Dr. Alton Lambert and listed in his books “Cemetery Records of Tuscaloosa County.” These
books are companion volumes to Dr. Alton Lambert’s three volume set “History of Tuscaloosa County.” He has listed eight
graves which includes the names Oliver P. Holmes and Holmes. He states there are “10 or more unmarked graves.”
I have visited this cemetery which was overgrown and the grave stones were turner over and scattered. I could not get close
enough to read the inscriptions on the stones. The cemetery is located 1/2 mile northwest of Wesley Chapel Church of Ralph,
    Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Thank you for any help you can provide. I am very interested in providing information about this cemetery to other genealogy enthusiasts.
