Fort Graham Cemetery, Hill County, Texas

The following data is extracted from Cemetery Collection.

(Loc: Take hwy. 933 south out of Blum, Texas, past Huron, turn right on Farm Road 2604. Just as you reach Adam's County Store take a sharp right. The road is a gravel road and will wind past a housing addition, then wind to the right. Go across a small bridge and take the first gravel road to the left. It will resemble nothing more than a country lane, but it is covered with gravel. It will dead-end into the Fort Graham Cemetery. The cemetery is on a hill overlooking the Brazos River that is now part of Lake Whitney. None of the old Fort is remaining, buth there is a historical marker down the hill from the cemetery on the spot where the old Fort once stood. Many of the graves are marked with rocks and nothing else. Also, many have faded with time and were hard to read.
