    1. WordPress still refers to it’s software as a “blog.” It’s not a blog as in the traditional sense of a blog. It’s a website that uses the WordPress eco system to display the information.

As for subscription, it is free, and will send you an email anytime a new post is made to the website. There is no rhyme to the number of posts I make – it is determined by the amount of time I have available and the other responsibilities that may interfere with that time.

  1. Hi my name is Carole Lamp and I live in Western Maryland. I am doing family research of the name Taylor. Several of my ancestors were from Adams County. I have been successful in finding their graves with the exception of my 3rd great grandparents. I have found one of their children at Saint Ignatius cemetery in Adams County. His name is William Henry Taylor born Feb. 25 1845 and died Jan. 7 1919. Next to him are two flat stones. One says Father and the other Mother. I am trying to identify them but the church records burned in a fire years ago and no-one can identify them. I want to give them a proper and respectful monument but I have to be sure of the identity. The names of his parents are Lovinna Hilldebrandt Taylor born about 1816 and died in 1886 in Adams County, and William Charles Taylor born abt.1822 in Adams County and died about 1856 in Franklin County. I do not have much information on Charles so for him to be buried in St. Ignatius doesn’t make sense to me if he died in Franklin County. Since Chambersburg was burned by the Confederates in 1864 and the court house destroyed, I do not have access to any records they might have. I contacted the diocese in Harrisburg and they told me St.Ignatius is a private cemetery and not maintained by the church. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank You
    Carole Lamp
