  1. there is a map from October 1891 as Post Route Map of the State of Arkansas and of Indian and Oklahoma Territories with adjacent portions of…… that shows a location as Fort Logan in what would be Howard County to the northeast of Umpire and north of a community called Pates(?). It shows being on a mail route that started and ended out of Center Point, Arkansas.
