About Vermont Men in the Revolutionary War

This database is comprised of pay rolls of the Vermont men who served in the Revolutionary War. Most of the rolls were transcribed from a manuscript located at the office of the Adjutant-General in which the original rolls were copied into in 1843. Because these lists come from pay rolls, the information provided for each list includes items such the names of the individuals, a length or period of service, and an amount of pay. This database would be of great use to researchers with ancestors from Vermont who may have served in the Revolutionary War. From this database you may learn if you even had a relative who served in this war, how much they were paid, and when, where, and under whose command they served.
