Iosco County, Michigan Early Land Owners, 1841-1896

This database is an index to the Tract Book of Iosco County, Michigan. It includes about 3,000 early land purchases in the county from 1841 through 1896. Researchers may find the name of the purchaser, the residence of the purchaser, the date of purchase, a legal description of the property, a description of how the land was paid for, and references to military service rendered by the purchaser.

The original tract book is available at the Iosco County Register of Deeds Office. This record is also available on microfilm through the Family History Library.
