Leavenworth, Kansas Births, 1830-1891

Originally organized as "Indian Territory" following the Louisiana Purchase, Kansas began to see white settlers in the 1820's and 1830's. This database is a collection of birth records for persons born in Leavenworth County during these early years of the territory and state. Covering the years 1830 to 1891, this list of over 200 children gives birth dates and in some cases, additional notes regarding the child. It was compiled by the Leavenworth County Genealogical Society.
